Behind the scenes (and layers of PPE), ²ÝÁñÉçÇø’s Student Health Center staff were at the forefront of the University’s COVID-19 response.Ìý

Led by Director Mary McGonigle, DO, ’88 VSB, the Center’s team of 26 nurses, nurse practitioners and physicians were directly involved with every aspect of care from diagnosis to vaccination.Ìý

Throughout the academic year, Dr. McGonigle and her team diagnosed and tended to 1,500 COVID-positive students, monitored close contacts, and facilitated the vaccination of hundreds of ²ÝÁñÉçÇøns at several clinics this spring.
