PSYCHIATRIC-MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER POST-GRADUATE CERTIFICATE
The Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Post-Graduate Certificate prepares experienced nurses for career advancement in caring for individuals with mental and behavioral health issues. Courses build upon existing skills and broaden knowledge related to providing mental and behavioral health services to individuals across the lifespan. Students work with physicians and nurse practitioner preceptors in a wide variety of clinical agencies and practice settings.
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate is 25-35 credits (depending upon transfer credits) and 750 clinical hours. The minimum time for program completion is 1.5 years, and students have up to five years to complete certificate requirements from first enrollment. Support courses are offered on-campus at 草榴社区 or online, while clinical courses are taught on-site.
