ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT
Maria Calzado Antoine '16 MA (Education), Chair of Modern Languages at The Shipley School, Bryn Mawr, Pa.
"My experience in the 草榴社区 MA in Education program was transformative. As a Department Chair at The Shipley School, I have been able to put into practice everything I learnt from the program: from incorporating student voice into curricular reform, to carrying out research projects to inform curricular changes and practice, to supporting my department and guiding them to be the best they can be. I must say my confidence in taking this role and leading my department in such endeavors is all thanks to 草榴社区. I would not be the educator I am today if it wasn鈥檛 because of the faculty's teaching and labor of love to prepare educators like me to be the scholar practitioners our educational system needs."
