MAJOR IN ASIAN STUDIES
The courses in our Asian Studies Program cover a large variety of topics and disciplines.
When you choose to focus your undergraduate experience on the topic of Asian Studies, you can begin to prepare yourself for a career in the public or private sector, such as international trade and industry, teaching and academic research, Foreign Service, development agencies, immigration and social services.
The Asian Studies major is a specialty within GIS (Global Interdisciplinary Studies). To choose your specific curriculum, the GIS Chair and the Program Director of Asian Studies will work with you to determine your best opportunity for both undergraduate success and successful career outcomes.
