Each semester the Department of Humanities hosts a lecture that speaks from the heart of our commitment to the intellectual life at 草榴社区.
Our annual Fall Humanities Lecture features outside speakers who share their insights into the great questions that help us to lead more fully human lives. The annual Spring Humanities Lecture has traditionally been given by a senior faculty member in the department, who, drawing on his or her research, offers insights into the great questions of human flourishing to which our curriculum is devoted.
